Venture Gold has a fully permitted (110d) mill site at Hukill Gulch in Clear Creek County, Colorado. This permit allows the company to process 70,000 tons of ore per year. The mill site is fully developed, with: a 65,000 gallon water tank, a 300 ton ore shed, crushing plant, crushed ore bin, ball mill, SB 400 centrifuge, float cells and an 800,000 ton tailings impoundment area. There is a good road to the site and a ¾ mile private powerline that brings 25,000 volts of electricity to the site. The current mill is a proof of concept mill with a capacity of 60 tons per day. The Company is planning to upgrade the mill to 300 tons per day. There are approximately 5,000,000 tons of mine dumps in the district of which Venture Gold controls about 900,000 tons to initially feed the mill. Venture Gold plans to process these lower grade mine dumps until the rich underground ore is developed.
