Mason Drake - Chief Executive Officer

Mason Drake has served as an economist and strategy advisor to both private and public companies in diverse industries including commercial real estate development and construction, commodity trading, hospitality, residential land development, asset management, economics education, and public policy- oriented think tanks. He is a co-founder of Venture Mill Company and several other similarly situated business ventures. Mason also serves on the board of Venture Resources Inc. 

 

Patrick Maher - President and Chief Operating Officer

Patrick Maher is a certified professional geologist, the founder of Venture Resources Inc. and serves on its board and as President.  His career thus far spans several decades as a geologist and entrepreneur in the natural resource sector. On three separate occasions, he has been involved with the largest oil field discoveries in North America in a given year and has been named “Explorer of the Year” by the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists. He cofounded Energetics and served as its COO for 13 years during which time it grew from an initial $30k investment to $120 million in proved producing oil and gas reserves. He has been in mining since 1974.
